Dr. Touber Vang completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine and residency training in Family Medicine at St. John's Hospital and Medical Center, both in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Vang and his wife, La, moved to Troy, NC in 2002 to be closer to his family. Dr. Vang was first employed by FirstHealth of the Carolina's and initially worked at their Star office before moving to the Troy office at Montgomery Memorial Hospital.

In 2005 Dr. Vang and Janet Leone Britt, PA-C decide to leave FirstHealth and start Mid Carolina Family Medicine. Dr. Vang is also the medical director of the Montgomery County Health Department and is a faculty advisor to the CMA program at Montgomery Community College.

Dr. Touber Vang and La Vang have two children, Ethan and Courtney. In his spare time, Dr. Vang enjoys spending time with his family, fishing on the local lakes, and hunting.
